A part of the Dolmabahçe Palace, at its east side, for years housed a paintings' museum in its Crown Prince’s Apartment. This is one of pictures of its exterior, taken shortly before the collection moved to what now is the Istanbul Painting and Sculpture Museum. On some one can see the Bosporus side ended with a fence, on the other side the main palace was visible. I do not know what its function is now.
