During the cultural festival 2025 very many visitors saw the photographic opportunity of fountains like this (they abound in Mardin). To take my pictures without people I had to wait until tens of selfies had been made. And not just selfies, at many spots visitors struck all sorts of poses to create tik-tok movies, standing on one leg and pretending to fly was a popular pose I could have filled a category with.
