A small mosque along the Gazi Caddesi: Salos Mosque
A notice on one picture translates to: “Since the mosque has no inscription, it is unknown when or by whom it was built. The mosque, thought to date from the 16th century, is mentioned as the Salori Mosque in Evliya Çelebi's Seyahatname (Travel Book). The mosque has a rectangular plan and is covered with a flat roof over a black ashlar-stone slab. The prayer hall, extending east-west, consists of two bays parallel to the mihrab.” On the web I found also: “It was built in 1555. A section of it was demolished during road widening works in 1955.”
