On a website I found, translated and edited: This mosque, (Tahtakale (Haci Emir / İsmail Ağa /) Camii) located in the Tire district of İzmir province, was built by Hoca Hacı Emir in H.903 (1498-1499), according to its inscription. The inscription is written in Persian in two lines and has deteriorated over time. The mosque is 7.10x7.25 m. made of rubble stone. It has a square plan in size. The place of worship is covered with an octagonal drum dome sitting on a lozenge belt. The mihrab has a square plan, the minbar is quite simple and was built in a late period. The last congregation place in front of the mosque has four sections. It is covered with a cross vault. The minaret next to the mosque has a square base, a round brick body and a single balcony. The mosque is far from its original form due to the repairs made at different times.
