On a website I found, translated and edited: Yahsi Bey Mosque. It was built by Halil Yahşi Bey, the first Aydın Sanjak Bey, one of the commanders of Murat II, who put an end to the Aydınoğulları Principality in 1426. It was built as a Mevlevi zaviye according to its foundation charter dated 1442. Tahtakale bazaar is the foundation of this zaviye. The semahanes (buildings where mevlevi dervishes perform the sema, the whirling dance ) located in the east and west of the harem of the work, which became famous as the first half-domed mosque with zawiyah in Anatolia, have been preserved exactly today. Both the crown gate and the semahane gates are the most beautiful examples of wood carving technique. Its minaret was later built and the building was turned into a mosque with a zaviye. Its minaret, which is made of coloured tiles, is the only such example in Tire. Its soup kitchen in the east has disappeared.
During a later visit a notice mentioned the zaviye name, but it's the same mosque.
