The mausoleum is attributed to Mukrime Hatun, the wife of Prince Shehinshah, son of Beyazid II, and mother of Prince Mehmed. There is no construction-related epitaph board on this structure, but as she died in 1517 the date of construction is estimated to be early 16th century. The walls are decorated with rich hand-drawn ornaments from different epochs.
Besides Mukrime Hatun’s tomb there are others, of unknown persons.
