The Medrese of Feyzullah Efendi was founded in 1700 by the Şeyh-ül Islam Feyzullah Efendi, it is now used as a library. I was allowed entrance but, maybe because some of the works in some showcases are very valuable, was not allowed to take pictures apart from some general ones of the outside. A famous bibliophile, Ali Emiri Efendi, who died in 1924, left the building and his valuable collection of books to the people of Istanbul.
