A view from the roof with the Yeni Hamam. Translated and condensed from the web: Kırkkaşık Bedesteni, which was built in 1579 by İbrahim Bey, son of Piri Pasha from the Ramazanoğulları Principality, was used as a soup kitchen and a madrasah in the early periods, but after the Republic it functioned as a covered bazaar. Kırkkaşık (Forty spoons) Bedesten, also known as Beyaz Çarşı in the past, has a rectangular plan and takes its name from the spoon ornaments on the exterior of the building. The building, which was built of cut stone, can be entered through two doors in the west and east directions. The building, which has 21 rooms, consists of 7 domes. In addition, the number of rooms is 25, including two tower rooms, which can be reached by two stairs from the inside, and two rooms on the exterior in the west direction. In the shops and offices located in the Bedesten, various publications describing the history of the city, social and cultural life are exhibited. Also ceramics, wood, copper, silver, leather, woven touristic souvenirs of local handicrafts, food and beverages that serve local tastes are sold.
